About the Job
As the Test Manager, you will support the Product Test Engineering team by being responsible for specification, design, development testing, implementation and documentation of cost-effective manufacturing test systems. You will work with engineering and manufacturing teams to proactively define production testing and tuning flow, routines and designs to support the manufacturing test and tuning debugging processes for RF devices. You will prepare test and tuning diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures for new products. In addition, you will control labor and equipment schedules required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Lastly, you will participate in final system integration and validation.
You are responsible for:
- Developing departmental standards and procedures
- Oversight of test and tuning functions
- Reviewing and approving the testing and evaluation methods of standard and special devices
- Specifying tests and tuning to be performed, compile data, and make recommendations for changes required in testing and tuning equipment procedures, manufacturing processes, and/or new testing requirements.
- Prioritizing schedules based on product introduction and manufacturing and engineering schedules
- Conferring with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities cross functionally
- Determining standards, budgets, production goals, and rates, based on company policies, equipment and labor availability, and workloads
- Mentor and train lower level Technicians and develop their skillsets to the intermediate and advanced stages.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years in a manufacturing/production role
- 3 years of supervising or managing a team of electronics testers/tuners
- Strong knowledge of RF theories and technology
- Strong Knowledge of RF Test Equipment (VNA, PNA, PNA-X, PSG, PSA, etc..)
- Proficient with thin film circuits and chip and wire tuning
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good team-building and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple, conflicting and changing priorities to meet client deadlines
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- Proven track record for high quality product delivery
