Position: Electrical Test Technician-2nd shift
Type: Contract to Hire
Location: Franklin, WI
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM (with overtime 2 or 3 Fridays a month)
Pay: $27.00 hourly + 20% differential
Position Summary:
As a Test Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our client’s products. Your responsibilities will include assembly, testing, and troubleshooting tasks in a production environment, where precision and attention to detail are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Execute assembly and testing procedures for electrical power products.
- Assemble and thoroughly test products and provide feedback to the engineering team.
- Conduct testing at timing stations and run switches through the operations station.
- Perform mechanical work, including disconnect assemblies.
Qualifications:
- High voltage electrical experience, or educational training & understanding of electrical principles
- Familiarity with 420 volts / 3-phase systems.
- Proficiency in reading and working from complex blueprints, wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical issues.
Desired Qualifications:
- Individuals with electrical high-voltage testing preferred
- Recent graduates from Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, and other related Electrical programs are encouraged to apply.
- Former military personnel with relevant technical experience are welcomed to apply.
