Test Technician - Luminys Systems Corporation

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Test Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing product inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and reporting. You will also support our technical support and sales teams by addressing customer inquiries and collaborate with the marketing team to provide accurate product features and specifications. Additionally, you will work with the training team to develop training materials and organize travel/demo cases.

What your primary responsibilities will be:

• Product Inspection and Testing: Perform product inspections, conduct tests, troubleshoot issues, and generate detailed reports.
• Customer Support: Assist the technical support and sales teams by addressing customer inquiries effectively.
• Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to provide accurate product features and specifications.
• Training Material Development: Collaborate with the training team to develop comprehensive training materials.
• Travel/Demo Preparation: Organize and assemble travel/demo cases efficiently.

What you will need:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience in the Security/Video Surveillance industry or related fields is preferred.
• Associate’s Degree or other relevant technical certifications are preferred.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong listening skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Understanding of low voltage electrical systems.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time if needed
• May be required to stand for long periods of time
• Constantly operates a computer and possibly other work related machinery
• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine including repetitive motions
• Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication
• Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication
• Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
• May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels
