JOB SUMMARY:
The Testing and Disability Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of campus testing programs including the planning, training, communication, organization, materials management, security, and administration of state and local testing, exams, and accommodated tests for students with disabilities. This person will be responsible for coordinating test dates and test times with faculty and for converting tests into accessible formats if necessary. Ensures that appropriate testing procedures are in place and carried out according to state law and university requirements. On test days, oversees and monitors the secure administration of assessments and responds promptly to needs and issues if/when they arise.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Proctoring and administering tests with accommodations to students
•Work closely with faculty and staff regarding testing accommodations
•Receiving tests and converting to alternative format if needed
•Oversee and/or assist with producing course material/lecture material In alternative formats for students with disabilities; ability to manipulate specialized software.
•Includes overseeing transcription of notes for students with disabilities and reviewing and forwarding notes to the students in a timely fashion.
•Reformatting class materials and textbooks.
•Scanning in and converting documents to text compatible with assistive technology, including but not limited to, screen readers.
•Administer independent study tests, institutional tests, and national standardized tests.
•Ensure that test security academic standards and integrity are always maintained.
•Provide data reports of all activities in the center
•Coordinates ordering, distribution, inventory, collection, and scoring of testing materials.
•Operate software to support the testing program
•Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of applicable experience.
•Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

•Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts.
•Ability to use spreadsheet, database, and/or presentation software.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality.
