Job Summary:
This position provides engineering support in the day-to-day operations of the testing laboratory and facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop objective test plans and scheduling based on the customer's needs and specifications
- Design and build test fixtures and instrumentation, including life cycle test rigs and environmental test fixtures.
- Support the daily operations with knowledge of test specifications, environmental test equipment and test methods
- Interact with customers to ensure quality confirmation testing
- Support certification and compliance initiatives for ASTM, ISO, FMVSS, etc.
- Perform data analysis and design testing reports
- A four-year Engineering degree from an accredited university
- Two years of experience in testing and validation is preferred
- Familiarity with Instrument Design; Knowledge of Fixture Design, Environmental Testing and Development, Project Management. Experience in Automotive is a plus.
- Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, written and oral communication skills, have a strong work ethic and be a self starter
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills and PC proficiency;
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and have the ability to acquire a security clearance
- Must have a valid driver's license
