Responsibilities
- Ensure that products perform correctly.
- Perform tests on manufactured products.
- Assemble equipment.
- Calibrate equipment.
- Improve equipment.
- Maintain equipment.
- Give reports on defects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Safety / Microbiology, Biology, Microbiology, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a microbiology laboratory or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- This position requires the candidate to be capable of following directions and being fully responsible for work performed.
- This position requires proven skills at bench microbiology with good aseptic technique.
- This position requires the ability to understand, apply, and communicate microbiology principles to lab management.
- This position requires the candidate to be computer literate with the ability to work in Microsoft Office and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- This position requires the candidate to be detail-oriented, well-organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- This position requires the ability to communicate effectively and work effectively, both individually and in team settings.
- This position requires great problem-solving skills.
- Preferred theoretical knowledge in molecular biology and immunology; PCR and ELISA technology.
- This position requires occasional evening and weekend coverage to meet business objectives.
- This position requires the candidate to be flexible and work with changing priorities and timelines.
