We are looking for a Testing Technician to join our team.
The Testing Technician is responsible for the day-to-day calibration and troubleshooting of instruments. The successful candidate must independently coordinate the order and priority of instruments to be calibrated / troubleshot based on current open sales order lists and / or production schedules. This person will also become the process owner and will cross-train others as required. This person will document calibration results and will work cross-functionally with other departments to resolve issues that may arise.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Hands-On calibration technician responsible for the forward production flow of all systems spanning the entire product line, duct.
• Manage the workflow for 2 products in conjunction with the production schedule
• Cross Training of additional technician resources as required
• Process ownership for Instrument calibration and quality output result
• Provide timely and accurate feedback to the Manufacturing Engineering and Sustaining Engineering groups for collective analysis and trend identification
• Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with experience calibrating complex products and sub-assemblies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must have demonstrated ability to read and follow assembly and test procedures
• Microsoft Office Suite expertise
• Must have effective cross functional communications skills
• Familiarity with yield and parametric data collection and presentation
