As a THE CUSTOM CHEF™ Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of high-performance cutlery at Macy's. Your primary responsibility is to engage customers, educate them about the unique features and benefits of THE CUSTOM CHEF™ products, and drive sales. You will also provide training to Macy's associates during downtimes to enhance their product knowledge and promote sales. This is a seasonal, part-time opportunity working 4-hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday 10/12/2024-12/29/2024. To set you up for success in this role, you will complete 8 hours of training including e-learning courses and virtual training prior to activating in-store.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Engage customers proactively, offering demonstrations and answering questions about THE CUSTOM CHEF™ cutlery
- Develop a deep understanding of THE CUSTOM CHEF™ products, including their features, benefits, and target audience
- Drive sales by effectively communicating product value and addressing customer needs
- Train Macy's associates on THE CUSTOM CHEF™ products, ensuring they are well-equipped to promote sales and provide excellent customer service
- Gather and report sales data, customer feedback, and competitive insights using the provided reporting tool
- Maintain a professional demeanor and represent THE CUSTOM CHEF™ and Macy's in a positive manner
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Background in consumer electronics and the retail environment
- Experience in sales, demos, and/or customer-facing experience at retail
- A passion for high-quality kitchenware
Skills and Attributes:
- Must be enthusiastic, initiative-taking, have an outgoing personality, and be comfortable in a competitive environment
- Exemplary communications skills, both written & verbal
- Strong sales negotiation skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- The ability to quickly learn new products and features
- Self-starter with a strong commitment to driving results
- Self-Motivation and the drive to start and complete in-store projects, training and sales.
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays
- Availability to work Black Friday
- Access to either an iPhone or Android smartphone for on-site reporting prior to leaving the store
- Reliable transportation to transport event assets to and from the retail location is required

- Regularly sit, stand, walk, bend over, grasp, talk and/or hear, and drive
