Job Title: Mental Health Therapist
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Work Environment: Teen & Young Adult Outpatient Treatment Center
Schedule: Full Time | Monday to Friday (some evening hours required)
Compensation: $60,000 - $74,000 (Dependent on Licensure / Experience)
About the Job:
As a therapist at Sandstone Care, you will play a vital role in our mission. You will:
- Provide high-quality and empathic therapy to individuals and groups, addressing the root causes of adolescent client's substance use and mental health diagnosis.
- Facilitate engaging and effective 3-hour clinical groups three times a week, covering topics such as coping skills, relapse prevention, and life skills.
- Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans, ensuring that each client receives the best possible care and achieves their recovery goals.

Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of a master's degree in a Behavioral Health Science required (clinical social work, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field)
Training & Experience:
- Required to be a licensed clinician in the state of Illinois (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) Provisional Licensed will also be considered (LPC, LSW, ALMFT)
- Previous experience with treating mental health conditions is required;
- Preferred experience with a treatment facility in residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and/or intensive outpatient (IOP) settings is required
