Independent Contractual EMDR Specialist:?PCS-Counseling, Northville, MI Summary:?PCS-Counseling seeks a growth-oriented, self-directed mental health professional to join our thriving private practice. The ideal candidate should be educated in the four steps of EMDR therapy, which uses a structured eight-phase approach that includes. Phase 1: History-taking. Phase 2: Preparing the client. Phase 3: Assessing the target memory. Phases 4-7: Processing the memory to adaptive resolution. Phase 8: Evaluating treatment results. Additionally, the candidate will be familiar with working with addictions, anxiety, chronic pain, trauma, eating disorders, panic attacks, panic disorders, and phobias. Additionally, you will be a part of a learning community of professionals with experience providing clinical assessment and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, utilizing trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices. Description: Conducted clinical assessments, formulated diagnoses, and developed treatment plans. Provide EMDR to children, adolescents, and adults with PTSD. Work in a fully furnished office setting and telehealth using a HIPAA-compliant platform. Build a caseload through incoming referrals, networking, and self-directed marketing. Monitor client progress and coordinate medically necessary outpatient behavioral health services. Maintain electronic medical records and daily progress notes. Clinical and Reflective supervision. Case consultation, team meetings, and training. Flexible full-time and part-time scheduling hours. A competitive fee-split compensation structure is paid twice a month based on client billing. Office staff provides scheduling, billing, credentialing, marketing, and administrative support. Qualifications: Master or Doctoral level degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited university. Certified EMDR Therapist/EMDRIA Certified Certified in EMDR and completed the basic EMDR training, Complete at least 20 additional consultation hours and a minimum of 25 clinical sessions using EMDR. State of Michigan professional licensure as a LMSW, LPC, LP, or LLP Maintain professional liability insurance. Experience delivering outpatient and telehealth therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in private practice, community mental health, or integrated health clinic settings. Our counselors, coaches, business consultants, and trainers utilize the BSP tool in their work with clients to help them gain greater awareness of behavioral patterns in themselves and others in typical and stressful situations to improve personal and professional relationships. Diverse Clientele: Experience working with various clients, including age groups, cultural backgrounds, and presenting issues. Specialized Expertise: Proficiency in specific therapeutic areas such as trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), family therapy, or child and adolescent therapy. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers.
