Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective staff and case supervision in accordance with established Supervision for Success model of supervision.
- Provide coaching to staff regarding case issues, needs, goals and interventions and documentation.
- Provide timely feedback to staff, supporting their performance/professional development, productivity and quality service provision.
- Address performance issues with staff in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure staff function in accordance with Program Manual and agency policies and procedures.
- Timely conduct annual employee performance evaluations of staff.
- Educate, coach and teach parents skills to meet their children's physical, emotional, behavioral and developmental needs.
- Provide therapeutic support and intervention for parents, addressing their trauma and loss issues.
- Provide therapeutic interventions during and outside of visits, focusing on achievement of sustainable family reunification, which ensures child safety and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the visit counselor and DCP&P staff to ensure the seamless integration of all service elements.
- Provide appropriate intervention strategies and adjusts services accordingly.
- Must have Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field. MSW's must have an active NJ license (LSW).
- Must have prior professional experience in providing treatment services to families.
- Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record.
- Supervisory experience and experience working with children in foster care preferred.
