This role is Hybrid (2 days on-site) and can sit in the Morrisville, NC USA office and/or Gothenburg, Sweden office.
Quick Pitch: We are searching for a scientist with thermodynamic knowledge in single- and two-phase flow who can support engineering teams in creating/developing new liquid cooling/refrigeration systems
The Role:
As a Scientist in our R&D team, you will apply your scientific prowess to solve diverse challenges and develop specific liquid cooling solutions. You will schedule and conduct experimental studies, research technical solutions, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and conduct scientific investigations to support current and new product development.
Research, investigate, and propose technical solutions for liquid cooling and refrigeration projects.
Apply advanced scientific analysis techniques and practices within your specialty.
Build productive relationships with manufacturing, engineering, marketing, and technology groups.
Actively participate in multi-disciplinary product development teams.
Direct and train laboratory technicians during experiments.
Present results effectively and respond to questions from the team.
Prepare accurate reports and assist in comprehensive report preparations for new product formulations and procedures.
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
What You Bring:
Detailed knowledge of refrigeration and liquid cooling systems.
Experience in testing and simulating refrigeration and liquid cooling systems.
Proficiency in personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relational databases.
Excellent communication and English skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently towards defined objectives.
Understanding of new product development processes and workflow.
