The Thermoforming Operator - Assembler/Finisher - 1st Shift (Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm) role is responsible for:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fabricates product using procedures defined in production manual by:
- Sanding and buffing tubs and shower bases.
- Preparing testers and two-piece front tubs.
- Bending tub rails.
Inspecting, packaging and transporting tubs, testers and shower bases according to production, quality assurance and packaging standards.
- Thermoforming of tub fronts.
- Cutting two-piece front tubs with machine.
- Bending A-front tubs.
- Leveling tubs.
- Sanding and buffing tubs for repair.
- Inspecting, packaging and transporting tubs, testers and shower bases according to production, quality assurance and packaging standards.
- Works at different workstations as production needs require.
- Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.
- Carries or transport materials, molds, inventory, and/or supplies to work station.
- Takes precise measurements.
- Operates production machinery, tools, tow motor, stand up lift, and other equipment.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Uses computer to enter data.
- Other related tasks
QUALIFICATIONS

- Education and/or Experience – Minimum High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to use a tape measure and other measuring devices.
- Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Tow motor operator certification
