The ideal candidate will have broad training, experience, and expertise in all aspects of non-cardiac thoracic surgery, including minimally invasive surgical techniques. Compensation Range: $548,742 - $581,021 / Year

MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. Patient Care:

• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Diagnostic Procedures:

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
• Perform procedures as needed
• Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance:

• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
• Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning:

• Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

• MD or DO degree
• Successful completion of ACGME-approved General Surgery Residency and Thoracic Surgery Fellowship (or an I-6 Tract equivalent)
• Must have or be eligible for California State medical licensure
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health California hospitals
• A passion for providing excellent clinical care in a collaborative team-based setting
