Job Description-
Milacron is looking for a Threadmill Operator to join our team in McPherson, KS. As a Threadmill Operator you will be responsible for the set-up and operation of a variety of machinery to produce a large assortment of parts or finishes, often of a complex nature.
Schedule: 1st Shift 8am-4pm, 2nd Shift M-F 4pm-12am, & 3rd Shift 12am-8am. mandatory overtime including Saturdays as needed. Training will take place on 1st shift.
Work You’ll Do:

Setup and operate a variety of machinery to blueprint specifications
-
Produce parts to the highest-level finishes and tolerances
-
Use various measuring tools and instruments for precision measuring
-
Move controls to set specified speeds, feed rates, and spacing between wheel faces
-
Lifts and positions work piece manually or with a hoist and secures it between wheels and on work rest

Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
-
1+ years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Basic math skills required, advanced preferred
-
Must be at least 18 years of age

General computer skills
-
Knowledge and understanding of various measuring devices
Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met

Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player
-
blueprint reading experience preferred
