Job description:
This position requires 5+ years' experience working with TIBCO Business Connect, Business Works and Tibco Suite.
- Will evaluate, develop, customize, install, configure, implement and maintain key system software components, according to Customer / system requirements for Tibco Business Connect, Business Works.
- Will assist project teams and business customers in evaluating, developing, implementing, and supporting system architecture components and participate in component and system testing as it relates to hardware and operating system components.
- Will test and implement messaging components using techniques that preserve system integrity.
- Will participate in an on-call rotation.
- Will troubleshoot, resolve, and provide root cause analysis to technical issues.
- Will evaluate, develop, customize, install, implement, and maintain key system software components, according to customer and system requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge / Experience on creating all charts that exist in Spotfire (scatter, line, bar, combo, pie, etc.) and how to manipulate every property associated with a visualization (trellis, color, shape, size, etc.).
- Experience in recreating reports in Spotfire that exist in Tableau, Cognos etc.
- Experience with Composite would be preferred.
- Ability to change the data sources for existing reports and re-linking the data with new data sources.
- Ability to write Oracle and Microsoft SQL queries for building Information Links.
- Demonstrates programming aptitude and ability for logical and abstract thinking.
- Excellent partnering, communication, and negotiation skills so as to interact effectively with business Customers and technology development and support groups.
- Experience with Web Service public API.
- Experience in user training, resolving day to day issues and coordination with TIBCO technical support.
