MyUs.com is seeking a Tier I Desktop Support Technician who will be responsible for the overall health of our desktop environment and accessory equipment. This is a temporary role lasting until January 2025.
This position is designed for a fully proficient technician that can work independently and thrive in a team atmosphere.

The Tier I Desktop Support Technician reports directly to our IT Support Services Supervisor. This position has a work schedule of Tuesday-Friday 1:00 pm- 9:00 pm; Saturday 9:00 am- 5:00 pm, with possible additional hours based on operational business needs.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Creating and working on support request tickets utilizing help desk ticketing software
- Responding to user issues in a large warehouse and in an office environment
- Setup, install and configure new system for multiple departments
- Troubleshooting and replacing computers, monitors, barcode scanners, printers and other peripherals in a fast-paced environment
- Maintaining, cleaning and testing warehouse equipment and peripherals
- Asset tagging and property management
- Performing password resets in Active Directory. Supporting .NET software applications.
- Other duties as assigned by Management

Physical Requirements:
- Requires normal vision, hearing, and speaking ability
- Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 20 pounds of force on a regular basis, and some dexterity in operating office equipment
- Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, crawling, kneeling, twisting and pulling
- Frequently lifts/carries 25 to 50 pounds
- Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel, stoop or crouch repeatedly
Summary of Experience and Education:
- Preferred 2-5 years of experience with computer hardware, Operating systems, and applications
- Experience in an IT support services related role to include desktop support and troubleshooting is a bonus. Training is available.
- A+, Net+, or similar certifications, or possess the ability to achieve certifications as required by management within expected timeframe(s) is a bonus
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate them to non-technical personnel, at times in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 Professional Edition, in use for an enterprise framework.
- Working knowledge of Office 365 applications and dependencies
- Solid understanding of wired and wireless networks
- Working knowledge of network security and OS security
- Intermediate understanding and utilization of mobile devices operating on the android or iOS operating system.
Working Conditions:
- The position operates in a transportation and inventory warehouse environment with associated distraction such as noise from telephones, keyboards, talking, systems, and other machinery and equipment
- Open air warehouse with fluctuating temperatures
- Warehouse fans are regulated by facilities management and are not within the direct control of the individual
- Will be required to work near moving or mechanical equipment
