TPG is seeking a full-time Shop Mechanic.

Job Summary

Seeking self-motivated, dependable, safety oriented Shop Mechanic with:

• Must be able to safely operate rotating machinery, mount, dismount vehicle tire and wheel assemblies.
• Able to read and follow specific repair/installation instructions
• 1 yr experience in field and/or automotive technology certification in lieu of experience
• Knowledgeable with tire, wheel and vehicle alignments a plus!

Shop Mechanic will be responsible for required vehicle:

• Vehicle Maintenance
• Vehicle alignments
• Calibration of components, chassis adjustment and modification pertaining technical tests per specifications and/or instructions.

Must be:

• Detail oriented, able to follow instructions thoroughly
• Very observant, able to complete thorough documentation,have good verbal and written communication skills
• Work cooperatively in a diverse & challenging environment.
• Able to work evenings and weekends

Physical:

• Must be able to lift up to 105 lbs
• Manual dexterity sufficient to perform delicate vehicle chassis adjustments and modifications.
• Tire testing requires a significant level of manual labor to remove, dismount, measure, remount, balance and replace tire on vehicles. Individuals with physical conditions limiting their ability to perform these functions are not suited for this type of work.
