Position Overview
This position will support internal legal counsel, title services, loan services and marketplace in managing real estate transactions, including preparing and reviewing documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and fielding questions regarding title work and loan documentation.

Preferred office location is in Jefferson City, MO. However, we are open to other office locations within Missouri for the right talent.
A Hybrid - Remote Office Work Environment and flexible work schedule will be considered after the initial training period is complete and based on the candidate's qualifications and needs.
This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Required Skills
Minimum Qualifications- Associate's degree in paralegal studies, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Paralegal Certification
- 3 years of related experience as a real estate paralegal
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Working knowledge of real estate law and transactions
- Working knowledge of title insurance and closing processes
- Proficiency in legal research tools and databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)
- Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
- Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Communication skills sufficient to discuss a variety of job-related topics and to effectively communicate complex issues
- Skill in utilizing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Skill in processing complex, detailed information in an accurate and thorough manner
- Skill in working as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues
- Verbal and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor and customers
- Skill in organizing material and information in a systematic way to optimize efficiency
- Skill in applying processes and procedures to factual data to come to make logical decisions
