TMS / Behavioral Technician - Complete Mind Care of PA LLC

About the Job
We are looking for a compassionate and capable behavioral technician to create a supportive treatment experience for our patients. The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience working in behavioral health and is familiar with or willing to learn the TMS (Trans Magnetic Stimulation)
All trainings will be provided by the Company. Schedule is Monday through Friday evenings, no weekends, on call coverage.
Prior experience working with neurodiverse children, adolescents and adults is preferred as TMS services will be provided to neurodiverse clients (such as an RBT or BaCBA).
Responsibilities
Scheduling TMS treatment appointments
Administering TMS treatments according to protocols provided by prescribing provider
Administering MeRT treatment to patients
Administering EEG recording to patients
Utilizing EMR software, documenting and tracking patient progress
Exercising proper care and maintenance of coil and MeRT machines
Providing proper care and maintenance of EEG caps
Providing excellent patient care by ensuring patients are seen at their scheduled treatment time
Ensuring MeRT and EEG treatment rooms are prepped before patient’s arrival
Ensuring all coils are always kept within operational temperature ranges
Providing appropriate and educated responses to patients and families questions or concerns regarding treatment
Providing additional ad hoc support to the clinic on an as needed basis.
Enabling effective treatment by accurately positioning the TMS equipment.
Monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
Creating a supportive, comfortable treatment environment and demonstrating compassion.
Assisting patients to complete psychiatric rating scales before and after sessions.
Collaborate with a team of trained TMS technicians to deliver high-quality patient care for each patient.
Communicate with team treatment updates for the best patient care throughout treatment.
Monitor patients in the clinic during treatments.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients, their families, and coworkers.
Learning the EMR (electronic medical record)
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Must pass all background checks required as part of our pre-employment process.
Successful completion of TMS Certification (training and certification provided during initial period of employment).
