Lead Toddler Teacher - Full Time
Location: Tiny Steps Learning Center, Paterson, NJ
Tiny Steps Learning Center is expanding and seeking passionate Lead Toddler Teachers to join our team. We provide a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Position Overview:
The Lead Toddler Teacher will educate and care for children ages 1 to 3, teaching age-appropriate skills and subjects. Responsibilities include:

- Physical caregiving and developmental assessments.
- Following the curricular plan.
- Building supportive relationships with staff, parents, and students.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with toddler children in a daycare setting.
- Associate Degree in Education or current CDA certification (Preferred).
- Strong understanding of child development and toddler educational methods.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
- Able to lift up to 45 pounds multiple times per day.
- Willingness to submit to background checks.
- CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Available to work full-time, including as late as 5:30 pm (Depending on the work shift assigned).

- Ensure children’s safety and well-being.
- Implement curriculum with creativity and innovation.
- Serve as a positive role model.
- Foster social and emotional development.
- Maintain a clean and nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and delegate tasks.
- Create engaging lesson plans and track progress.

License/Certification:
