Summary You will serve as a Tool Control Specialist in the MRO Logistics, Industrial Supply of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Salary range for GS-05: $45,075 - $58,594 Salary range for GS-07: $55,836 - $72,588 Responsibilities You will review tool consumption using MAXIMO and compare tool stock quality. You will requisition tools and supplies. You will monitor and track requisition status and estimated delivery date. You will issue tools for customer check-out. You will monitor and track check-out tools are returned by customers. You will perform organize and clean up Central Tool Room area. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Review tool consumption using Maximo and compare tool stock quality; 2) Independently requisition tools and supplies, monitor and track requisition status and estimated delivery date; 3) Perform delivery acceptance and inspection of correct items received from 4PL and/or GCPC; 4) Perform record management of requisitions, liaison with customers and independently process and track Container Change Request Forms; 5) Liaisons with vendors, perform on line research to identify vendors and get a price quotes for GCPC procurement. GS-05 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following; 1. Under the guidance of a supervisor, issuing out and checking in tools; 2) Use computer programs to record transactions, monitor tool usage, perform laser etching on tools and consumables before issued; 3) Perform inventory control and stocking of tools on the production floor consumable lockers located throughout the facilities; 4) Inventory of received requisitioned tools, monitor spare tool stocks, process broken or worn tool reports, properly dispose of broken tools; 5) Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and use Microsoft and Teams to communicate with customers and team members daily; 6) Keep the central tool room clean and organized.
