Position Responsibilities Overview:
- Construct, modify, and repair tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures for punch press and press brakes.
- Apply expertise in the utilization of mills, both dry and wet grinders, lathe, and drill press.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure tooling and dies are maintained and ready for use.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, dies, or assemblies.
- Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications.
- Maintain the workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly and the area is safe and organized.
- Stay updated with the latest tooling technologies and best practices to enhance production efficiency.
- Proven experience as a Tool & Die Maker, preferably in the metal fabrication industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on skills with mills, grinders (both dry and wet), lathe, and drill press.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and company standards.
