Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join their manufacturing team on the 3rd shift in Washington, PA. This is a direct hire position, offering stability and the opportunity to work directly with a leading company in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing complex tooling, ensuring they meet precise specifications. You'll work closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, and implement improvements in the die-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain dies and tools for manufacturing processes.

Perform maintenance on dies to ensure optimal performance.

Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet die specifications and quality standards.

Identify and resolve tooling issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflow efficiency.

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve die designs and production processes.

Follow safety guidelines and protocols, especially while using various machinery.

Manage and maintain materials used in die-making.

Keep accurate records of die maintenance, repairs, and modifications.

Qualifications:

1 year of experience in machining and constructing tooling to drawing specifications.

1 year of experience using manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other relevant machinery.

Associate degree or 3 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker.

Experience in building die tooling for stamping/manufacturing processes.

Welding TIG/MIG experience is preferred.

Familiarity with steel heat-treating processes.
