- 5 Years Tool & Die and Machining experience.

Candidates will perform a variety of tasks including the following:
- Perform all tasks necessary to assemble, disassemble, bench, maintain, and/or make repairs to dies and fixtures.
- Under the direction of senior bench hands, assist with the execution of their job functions such as assisting with machine set-ups, cleaning of tooling, tooling modifications and /or repairs, and machines used within the process.
- Interpret engineering specifications, check sheets, computers and all associated documentation that details work connected to the primary job function.
- Evaluate, inspect, and document the condition of dies, die components, and log the status of the job.
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions and communicate well in written form.
Tools and equipment used on the job include but are not limited to the following:
- Drill press.
- Lathe,
- Milling machine,
- Grinding machines,
- Ultra-sonic cleaner,
- Pneumatic impact wrenches,
- Pneumatic die grinders,
- Hand tools,
- Stamps,
- Precision measuring tools,
- Drill and tool sharpening,
- Machinist tools,
- Computers,
- Band saws,
- Die cleaning equipment,
- Drill and tool sharpening,
- Overhead cranes.
Candidates must have the flexibility to work any shift and any day. This position requires overtime of up to 60 hours per week and standard work hours on weekdays as well as some weekendsHowmet Morristown, TN. Operations located at 5650 Commerce Blvd., is seeking qualified applicants for: Die Shop Bench Hand Tool & Die Technician position.
Candidates will perform a variety of tasks including the following:
