Tool Room Maintenance Technician - General Technologies, Inc.

Our Tool Room Department is in need of a Maintenance Technician who will perform continual preventative maintenance and mechanical/electrical repairs to tool room machinery and auxiliary equipment. Will also provide injection mold preventative maintenance support and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

• Must perform daily preventative maintenance on tool room equipment (mills, lathes, surface grinders, saws, CNC equipment, EDM Sinkers, welders, and lighting, injection mold electrical control units/heating elements) and develop and support maintenance program/schedule.
• Must have good mechanical skills and have past experience-effectively and safely, performing electrical service support when necessary.
• Assist as Preventative Maintenance Mold Technician when not in process with equipment.
• Ability to advise procurement of repair/preventative maintenance components to source for machinery or auxiliary equipment.
• Effectively communicate with management and co-workers.
• Maintain meticulous house keeping with regards to work area, tools, machinery and follow standard department/company safe practices.

Requirements:

• Past maintenance and electrical service experience
• Mechanically inclined
• Exceptional work attendance
• Willing to learn new skillsets and work overtime
• Bilingual a plus

Schedule:

• Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm; must be willing to work overtime and on the weekends if needed
