Job Title : Tooling Designer/ Engineer - Florence SC
Location : Florence SC
Type : Contract / Contract to hire
Duration : 1.5 years ext. plus

Large Company in Florence seeking an experience Tooling Designer.
The Designer's primary responsibilities if to provide Tooling Design supporting new product Introduction, Variety of Cost Programs and Production support.
Duties include:
-Strong experience in creating concept layouts and tool design on a CAD system.
-Estimating cost/time requirements
-Create and manage product configuration structures
-Perform tolerance stack-ups
-Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and interconnect cable routing
-Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- A.S. degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years industrial experience
- Strong conceptual layout and product design experience utilizing CAD systems.
- Experience with Pro-E
- Experience with configuration of product structures
- Interpret and apply ANSI Y14.5 specifications and standards
- Experience reading and applying GD&T
