Job Purpose
To meet Global Process Assurance Capability Verification requirements and build quality products, we need a dedicated/skilled torque lead to maintain product excellence.
Key Accountabilities
- Setup of torque controllers to meet specs. This includes program creation, adjustment, static/dynamic torque data collections and confirmation. Support production with torques issues and implement any spec changes from tech.
- Validate processes by following tool validation procedure. This includes preparation and submittal of torque validation documents for approval.
- Develop capability of self, colleagues and team through mentoring and sharing of experience.
- Investigate new technology and collaborate with suppliers to find innovative tool solutions that will improve cost of ownership
- Create procedures for making changes and data analysis to detect issues and work on counter measures.
- Communicate and share information with internal Honda contacts including ADC Tech, ADC Process, New Model, and other Honda factories
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- BS degree in Engineering or equivalent related experience
- 2 - 8 years of experience, based on education
- MS Office, Project management skills, Catia/CAD, torque controllers and DC tools experience, PLC logic understanding, problem analysis skills.
Working Conditions
- Ability to work and install equipment. (Lifting >10lbs, walking/standing 8 hrs/day, etc)
- Ability work in an office, but also go to the floor to work on equipment.
- Flexibility to work different shifts.
- Work OT as requested.
- Ability to work shutdowns and weekends.
