Job Summary:
The Arrabelle is a luxury Vail hotel ideally located in the heart of the much-acclaimed Vail Square. Nestled against the base of North America's #1 ski resort, just footsteps from the Eagle Bahn gondola, The Arrabelle at Vail Square was inspired by the classic grand alpine hotels of Europe. From casual comforting cuisine to world class upscale Alpine inspired dining, The Arrabelle at Vail Square offers a variety of dining options to please every palette.
Job Specifications:
+ Outlet: The Arrabelle
+ Expected Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.98 / hour
+ Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
+ Skill Level: _Advanced_
Job Responsibilities:
+ Works all stations as required.
+ Develop and train line staff including interns to standard performance level.
+ Communicate with the Chef on duty to assure proper service according to the assigned shift.
+ Assists in maintaing smooth operations of the kitchen during assigned shift.
+ Supervises and coordinates the line crew to achieve assigned tasks according to kitchen standards.
+ Cook and prepare food to order on daily basis.
+ Assists in taking monthly inventory.
+ Assits in controlling Labor and Food costs.
+ Learn to read a P&L , learn to understand the dynamics of labor and food cost management.
+ Is familar with fire, safety and health procedures. Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by managment.
+ Reports and mechanical problems with the engineering department in a timely manner.
+ Assure safe and clean work conditions for all personnel.
+ Be a role model to others.
+ Maintain a 100% satisfaction rate and take full responsibilty for quality of food.
+ Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
+ Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Be able to stand for up to eight hours.
+ Must be able to communicate in English.
+ High school diploma - preferred.
+ Previous cook experience - preferred.
The expected pay range is $22.00 - $28.98. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
