TPM Engineer - Salary Range $77,000 to $95,000 at Plastipak Holdings

As TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Engineer, you lead the planning, development and execution of Victorville’s Total Productive Maintenance program.  You play a fundamental role in supporting and leading safety, quality and productivity improvements through TPM best practices and loss elimination initiatives. 

You Will

• In coordination with site leadership, determine Victorville TPM program goals. Develop & implement plans across the entire production system lifecycle to achieve goals.
• Establish milestones & metrics to track & measure progress & impacts.  Key measures include reliability, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime improvements, as well as user adoption & program conformance. 
• Drive program conformance by actively engaging associates to comply with TPM processes, assume continuous improvement mindsets and achieve targeted business goals.   
• Operate as a hands-on leader, coach & mentor to build capabilities.
• Serve as the site TPM subject matter expert. This includes collaborating with TPM peer group across the company to share best practices, drive standardization and bring new ideas to improve Victorville’s TPM program.
• Contribute to change management by developing & delivering communications & providing associates with on-the-job training. 
• Provide technical knowledge & leadership towards production line improvements.

You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline
• Working knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma tools & methodologies
• Production line equipment technical knowledge
• Proven program management capabilities:  planning & implementation, metrics & measures, governance, data analysis & reporting, change management
• Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities
• Key competencies for success:  leadership orientation, cross-functional collaboration, high impact communication
