A specialty finance company is seeking a Trade Accounting & Operations Manager / Senior Associate to join their team. The Banking Middle Office Professional plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of a financial services institution.

- Collaborate with the front office personnel to process and book transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades, including trade confirmation and reconciliation.
- Monitor trade lifecycle events (e.g., trade amendments, cancellations).
- Assess and manage risks associated with financial transactions.
- Monitor market, credit, and operational risks.
- Implement risk controls and compliance measures.
- Compute profits or losses generated by the front office.
- Analyze P&L data to identify trends and anomalies.
- Review deals and agreements negotiated by the front office to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with legal teams to address any legal issues.
- Automate processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- Financial services experience
- 4+ years experience
