Selectek has an opportunity for a talented Traffic Engineer to join our team in the Washington, DC area. In this role, you will play a key role in planning, leading, and delivering transportation design projects that improve traffic flow, safety, and accessibility for communities.

You can use your skills and experience for the following:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of transportation design projects, from initial planning to completion.
- Lead the development of traffic signal, lighting, maintenance of traffic, detour, pavement marking, and signing plans.
- Conduct traffic analysis studies, site access evaluations, and circulation studies.
- Prepare signal warrants, design exceptions/waivers, and project proposals.
- Facilitate, participate in, and lead project meetings to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different offices on traffic engineering and transportation planning initiatives.
What you bring:
- A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within one year of employment.
- 8-12 years of experience in transportation engineering and/or civil engineering.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent project management and public presentation skills.
- Proficiency in the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD software or MicroStation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
