Traffic Engineering Intern - Walter P Moore

We are searching for highly qualified students from leading engineering schools who are interested in pursuing further education in traffic engineering through the internship program available at Walter P Moore. As a traffic engineering intern with our organization, you will work as a member of project teams responsible for designing a range of civil/land or site development projects, such as large and small-scale commercial and institutional developments.

Candidates should have a sound technical background and excellent communication skills. Experience with traffic analysis software, including Synchro, HCS, Arc GIS, VISSIM, TransCad, a plus.  You will have the opportunity to participate in our industry-leading, in-house staff development program.

A sound technical background and enthusiasm for the challenges of designing great civil/land or site development projects are required. 

Opportunity is available for a part-time intern working 40 hours per week during the summer. 

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 40 college hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering of which at least 24 hours are engineering, physics or math related.
• Written recommendation from a civil engineering professor
