Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for Traffic/Shipping Coordinator in our warehouse department. This role will involved in various projects and support on process improvement to optimize shipping efficiency in the warehouse by supporting outbound shipments. This role will be located in our headquarters operation site in San Jose, CA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Plan and coordinate with SMC internal drivers to transfer materials/finished goods for SO/MO/PI and ENG orders fulfillment. Keep tracking of urgent/crucial dispatched orders to ensure on time delivery.
- Rapidly and properly respond to and handle customer complaints/inquiries, parcel damage/loss incident to minimize the impact on the company business.
- Track truck team work efficiency and seek for improvement opportunity.
- Coordinate, monitor and record truck and PIT equipment daily check and repairs.
- Assist to review and update Warehouse SOP and online training courses to ensure fully compliance with the requirements of ISO standards.
- Assist to check Warehouse daily 5S implementation and reporting.
- Perform other duties as instructed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, MS Office a preferred
- Ability to do basic math calculations
- Excellent interpersonal communications and organization skills, ability to multi-task while making effective decisions
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.
Salary Range
$18.00/hr - $25.00/hr
The salary offered will depend onforms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs. several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
