Trailer Mechanic - All StarZ Staffing & Consulting, LLC

All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Trailer Mechanic for an immediate opening with a full-service trucking company in Tukwila, WA (near Boeing & the Museum of Flight). We’re looking for someone with diesel and/or trailer repair experience to repair and maintain class 5-8 vehicles. This is a Multiple openings available for both temp-to-hire & direct hire!
 
 
Pay for the Trailer Mechanic:

• Up to $32 per hour with room to grow

 
Job Location:

• Tukwila, WA, located just off Hwy 99, near the Museum of Flight & Boeing, and under 10 minutes from Southcenter Mall
• Bus line accessible: The Tukwila International Boulevard Station is only a 15-minute bus ride away

 
Schedule for the Trailer Mechanic:

• Monday – Friday
• 8am – 4:30pm

Trailer Mechanic Duties:

• Perform mechanic inspections, preventative maintenance services, and DOT inspections on diesel, gas vehicles and trailers
• Repair and maintain vehicles
• Diagnose and repair class 5 through class 8 vehicles
• Diagnose and repair air and hydraulic brake systems, suspension and steering components, starting and charging system components
• Repair and replace drive train components including transmissions, clutches, drivelines and differentials
• Perform welding and fabrication with steel, stainless steel and aluminum
• Perform minor repairs on semi-trailers

 
Trailer Mechanic Qualifications:

• Must have prior experience working with diesel and/or trailer repair
• Prior commercial/gasoline engine mechanic experience is a plus!
• Journeyperson/Journeyman experience is a plus!
• Must be able to maintain regular attendance
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
