Maximus is currently hiring for a Trainer II - Training to join our EAOS program. This is a remote opportunity. The Trainer is responsible for building, updating, and revising curricula. The Trainer will partner closely with the Operations team. As part of the Training team the Trainer is responsible for developing plans and delivering the training that meet the needs of their internal and external customers, ensuring that internal customers are trained for the duties they perform.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the design, development, and distribution of training programs and materials.
- Develop and support the design, development, and distribution of training programs and materials.
- Establish and communicate the training methodologies to participants.
- Schedule training sessions and individual training programs, ensuring facilities set-up, audio-visual set up, and participant notification.
- Support the change management process, including ensuring accuracy and timeliness of document review, approval, and storage.
- Train the trainers, end-users and operations personnel on the Appeals case management process
- Provide technical support level client requirements
- Communicate requirement updates to the production floor
- Participate in the new scope of work module change development process
- Provide training to case management specialty groups to include reporting, complex appeals and complex appeals groups
- Support and maintaining the Local Training Center
- Assist in the writing of course material for future developments of case management as directed by Manager
- Review any documents created by colleagues
- Maintain current training modules in line with Technical changes
- Communicate the information as required in a clear, concise manner that is easily comprehend
- Be a representative of the Training Team
- Participate in product reviews as required
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- May have additional training or education in area of specialization.
- Ideally a level (Bachelor) or Higher School Diploma in training, communications, marketing
- Degree in training with 2 to 3 years' experience preferred
- Professional Requirements: Fluent in English
- Supportive, positive attitude and approach to work
- Adult learner environment experience required
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- In-depth knowledge of training dynamics an advantage
- Strong PC and software skills
- Knowledge of editing/writing training material an advantage
- Medicare, state Medicaid /CHIP regulations or Health Plan enrollment experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to learn CMS processing system features and files
- Working knowledge and use of PC, claim adjudication, MS Word and Excel software, and appeals system software
- Ability to work a schedule between 7am-4:30pm EST Monday - Friday required
- Must be available from 7am-9pm EST Monday - Friday as training needs require
- Live in or near Pittston, PA (18640) preferred

Home Office Requirements:

- Minimum 5mpbs upload speed
- Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router
- Private work area and adequate power source
- Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US

For positions on this contract, Maximus will pay the prevailing wage rate for the location in which the employee is working, as determined by the Department of Labor. That wage rate will vary depending on locality. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.
