Join our team as a Training and Client Advocacy Specialist and make life better. As a Training and Client Advocacy Specialist, you will provide strategic talent development programs and initiatives and advocacy and critical thinking to claims of inappropriate or inadequate care. You will develop and deliver creative and effective communication campaigns to ensure we exceed the expectations to support River Edge talent and leaders across our footprint. You will contribute to solutions to address the full employee lifecycle, including but not limited to program design, development, implementation, and evaluation processes. You will report directly to the Training and Development Manager. You will work closely with other trainers, the HRBP, HR Compliance Specialist, and the talent acquisition team to build an employee-centered learning, development, advocacy, and engagement culture.
What you will do in this role:
- Training Delivery - Develop and deliver training courses, collaborating with the Training and Development Manager, the Compliance Specialist, Talent Acquisition, the HRBP, and Key stakeholders to identify and provide training and development opportunities.
- Marketing Learning Support - Support the River Edge community by ensuring the successful rollout and delivery of critical training across the business.
- Information Management - Ensure learning data is accurately stored, reported, and monitored for compliance. Using the LMS track the effectiveness of all training assets.
- Engagement - Assist in developing and implementing the team member engagement strategy. Plan and organize events, communications, and initiatives to ensure that our team members continue promoting River Edge as a premier service in our communities.
- Administrative Support - Coordinate and track training requests, course logistics, reserve rooms, schedule meetings, order supplies, test equipment, ensure room set-up, and create reports.
What will be expected of you:
- Organize training logistics and schedule training sessions, and meetings, and monitor and report attendance after sessions.
- Deliver training sessions to include new hire onboarding. Coordinate presentations ensuring all required training are offered. Keep accurate records as required by DBHDD and other relevant agencies. Manage and ensure compliance with CPI, CPR, First Aid, AED, and other pertinent compliance courses, including annual renewals.
- Researches and translates content into training materials, both web-based and instructor lead.
- Provide post-training support as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of client-specific training and/or development needs.
- Assist with special projects such as process improvement, HR technology implementations, and presenting customer webinars or eLearning.
- Work with the Learning and Development Manager to ensure the successful new hire onboarding and team member experience.
- Input and ensures training dates are entered into the LMS accurately. Audit and inspect documents and assessments to ensure compliance with training oversite requirements.
- Serves as the primary contact for client complaints, advocacy, investigation, and staff education.
- Document through investigation findings, conclusions, and recommendations. In addition to maintaining and providing reports for program accountability.
What you should have for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or comparable.
- One year of experience in a role that required critical thinking skills and analysis.
- Two years of experience in providing direct care.
- You must have a minimum of 1-year training experience
- Four years of experience in healthcare documenting findings
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
