detect cancer early and how to be active partners in their healthcare. 40% of the
U.S. population will be diagnosed with cancer and cancer is the leading cause of life years lost in
the U.S. To benefit from the lifesaving advantage of early cancer detection, people need to be
educated about the signs and symptoms of cancer, motivated to pay attention to their own health
changes, and empowered to seek timely care, ask questions, and make decisions with their physicians.

DetecTogether is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to deliver our client education and
eLearning programs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities,
exceptional presentation skills, and a passion for empowering people to detect cancer early.

Training and Client Relations Manager
DetecTogether is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to deliver our client education and
eLearning programs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities,
exceptional presentation skills, and a passion for empowering people to detect cancer early.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Program Delivery: Lead comprehensive training programs and manage impact surveys for in-person and virtual audiences, ensuring interactive and engaging learning experiences that meet diverse audience needs, including firefighters, first responders, teens, young adults, and workplaces nationwide.
- Client Engagement & Support: Build long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and educational partner. Manage client relationships, including prospecting, scheduling, and supporting fee-for-service workplace programs, ensuring exceptional client experiences through continuous support and feedback integration.
- Facilitate ongoing client engagement initiatives: Including follow-up sessions, to reinforce learning, address questions, and support continuous client development.
- Content Development & Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams to refine program content based on research, client feedback, and performance data. Adapt programs to meet evolving needs and respond effectively to spontaneous questions during presentations.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the Communications and Marketing team to promote programs aligned with DetecTogether’s mission. Support fundraising events and other initiatives as required.
- Data-driven insights: Collect and help analyze data to drive program improvements and inform strategic decisions.
- Technical Proficiency: Leverage eLearning platforms, virtual tools, and technology for seamless training delivery and client interactions. Experience with creating engaging, tech-enabled educational experiences is a plus.
- Passion for Mission: A deep commitment to DetecTogether’s mission of saving lives through early cancer detection.
- Educational/Professional Background: Bachelor’s degree in communications, education, business, or related field with a minimum of three to five years of professional experience.
- Presentation Excellence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver engaging and impactful presentations to diverse audiences. Ability to utilize feedback to elevate content and impact.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Proven track record in client prospecting, relationship management, and program resource planning.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Openness to feedback, adaptability during presentations, and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to develop communications using Microsoft Office tools. Experience with Salesforce and other presentation technologies is a plus.
- Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Local and occasional national travel required up to 20%.
- Occasional weekend and early evening work may be required.
- Hybrid office environment.
