Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently seeking a Training Coordinator to join our Quality team. This position reports to the Director of Quality at our plant in Bloomington, MN. This position is responsible for managing implementation of training at CPP Minneapolis. This includes managing the training content, scheduling, records and trainer qualifications for all production, quality and safety training in the facility. Documenting training completion for all employees while teaming with department personnel to obtain everything needed.

Major Responsibilities:
- Implement training plan based on position- working with supervisors to finalize the details for each role.
- Maintain records of training activities.
- Monitor program effectiveness- recommending improvements as needed.
- Own, direct, and manage training projects from beginning to end. Define project scope, success and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Product & Process Engineering, Production, Human Resources, and EHS personnel to verify training content is appropriately updated.
- Coordinate with third party vendors.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify risks and issues and devise mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Plan, schedule and track project milestones. Estimate resources and participant needs to deliver project on time and budget.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and requirements.
- Tracks and reports on employee participation and assessment results.
- Creates monthly training calendars and coordinates with external and internal trainers.
- Coordinates materials and facilities for training sessions, including handouts, supplies, technology and virtual or physical conference rooms.
- Works with Supervisors & HR to assess employee training needs, maintaining records of training activities.
- Lead implementation of training software at CPP Minneapolis with assistance from corporate resources.
- Engage and inform leadership as needed and coach team members in regard to process improvement efficiencies.
- Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
- Perform work at the Bloomington facility
- Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Experience: 2-4 years previous experience in a Project Management or Training and Development role
- Certifications/Licenses: None
- Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Gant Chart experience. Excellent written, verbal & presentation communications skills. Ability to work effectively throughout all levels of the organization . Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills. Strong mathematical skills, working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
