Summary
The Training Coordinator provides support to the Bello Machre training program by aiding with the employees of Bello Machre, community members, and others who may be interested. The Training Coordinator must maintain current and relevant training and regulatory information to enable us to provide excellent care and support for the individuals served by Bello Machre. The position assists with maintaining compliance of the Bello Machre’s Policies & Procedures during all training programs.
The Training Coordinator may work up to 40 hours per week, and may not exceed 40 hours per week unless express approval by the direct supervisor is received.

Education and/or Experience
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience is required, preferably with some experience administering a training program.
Trainings, Licenses, and Certifications The employee must have and maintain a valid Maryland driver’s license. They may not have more than three points on their license at any time and may not have any alcohol and/or drug related citations on their license.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently lifts and transfers, and must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in a variety of locations and conditions, including but not limited to the home, various offices, and out in the community.
OSHA Employees in this position perform tasks that may involve potential exposure to blood and other bodily fluids. All employees are expected to utilize universal precautions and follow all safety guidelines. All employees are offered the opportunity to obtain the Hepatitis B vaccination at no cost to them, and at any time during their employment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Facilitate Bello Machre’s Orientation and other Bello Machre required training.
- Tracking course completion in our administrative Learning Management System.
- Coordinate with Training Director to track completion of National Direct Support Professional (DSP) Apprenticeship program.
- Communicate on-going training schedules to employees as appropriate; Prepare and distribute Training Catalogue.
- Enroll participants in training courses and provide confirmation as appropriate; Review enrollment and determine when cancellations or rescheduling may be appropriate; Make arrangements for trainings as needed.
- Maintain training database; Prepare and distribute monthly employee suspension list.
- Attend mandatory meetings, to include supervisory meetings.
- Maintain current and relevant trainings; Participate in new trainings that may be required.
- Check email and voicemail daily; Respond to emails and voicemail within 24 hours or as appropriate.
- Maintain and register for contractors for required trainings.
- Track annual training, which includes OSHA and other pertinent topics.
- Monitor MDOT alerts weekly and generate letters to employees as needed. Update Motor Vehicles Tracking for employees monthly and update the insured drivers’ log bi-weekly.
- Training Tracking, including monitoring Relias, iCM, and DHCA portal for completion and mark trained spreadsheets.
- Other duties as assigned.
