This financial services company is hiring for a Training and Development HR Specialist to join their team of 4 others! If you have 3+ years of experience facilitating training and have a passion for developing employees, this is the job for you!
Details:
- Pay: $75K-$82K depending on experience level with potential for some flexibility (salaried position)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Location: In office for training in Bloomington, MN and then flexible (must live in Minnesota currently)
- Type: Direct Hire with full benefits
Responsibilities:
- Training (both in person and virtual) and onboarding collection/call center roles for financial and healthcare companies/clients
- Training on average 5-10 new employees per training class (training courses go for 2-3 weeks in length)
- Plans, organizes, and effectively conducts employee trainings to prepare new hires to be successful in their roles
- Organizes all materials necessary for orientation
- Uses e-learning modules, group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos to teach skills necessary for the job
- Assesses training effectiveness and identifies areas where additional training is needed
- Schedules rooms, audiovisual equipment, attendees, preparing and distributing training aids such as handouts; and performing other related tasks.
Requirements:
- 3 - 7 years of experience in a training role is required
- Bachelor's degree in Training and Development or related field is a plus
- Previous experience training call center and/or customer service representatives and leadership training would be extremely beneficial
- Experience with both designing and facilitating training programs
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills is required
- Software experience of any of these would be beneficial: Live Vox , Captivate, Snagit, PowerPoint, Articulate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
