Responsibilities:

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Training and Development Specialist to work in Hunstville, AL. The candidate must have an active secret clearance. 

 

Training & Development Specialists to support the U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) training and career development needs of its employees. This full-time role requires supports various business operations to ensure the seamless execution of projects and initiatives.

 

This is a full-time position with work anticipated mid December 2024 upon award. 

 

Duties of this role include:

• Planning, resourcing, overseeing, and reporting on career development and mandatory training for employees. This includes coordinating with external training coordinators and managing training systems such as the Total Employee Development (TEDs) system.
• Tracking and reporting on training requirements and updates, ensuring compliance with all necessary training mandates.
• Collaborating with internal leadership and external agencies to execute critical workforce development programs effectively.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field. 
• 4-8 years of training and development experience in training and development that includes
• Proven ability to manage multiple training programs, training processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting workforce development programs simultaneously.
• Overseeing training systems and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience supporting Department of Defense Acquisition Workforce Development Account (DAWDA) programs.
• Familiarity with government systems such as Position Management Information System (CAPPMIS) is preferred.

• Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
