Work Schedule: 8 Hr (8:00:00 AM - 4:30:00 PM)
Summary:
This position serves as a facilitator for departmental and/or organizational training, assisting in the assessment, development and delivery of associated training materials and curriculum. The employee will facilitate training programs, performing assorted administrative or operational functions such as assisting in the research and development of multi-media training materials for individual, departmental, and organizational-wide presentation and maintaining the training calendar and database. Works with intermittent supervision and review; work problems involving departures from standard policies, interpretations, or procedures will be presented to the Management for review and direction on resolution. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education, Educational Methods, Communications, Healthcare Administration or related field. Or 3+ years of related experience in progressive roles.
• Three (3) years’ training, teaching, quality assurance or business coaching experience.
• Three (3) years’ experience working with EPIC Cadence in a practice or Access Center environment.
• Experience within a large hospital or integrated healthcare delivery system.
• Unique combinations of both hard and soft skills to prepare, analyze, and present data to various audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into user-friendly language.
• Strong attention to detail and an aptitude for organizing information logically. • Strong organizational skills & ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Proficient in Medical Terminology and HIPAA
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into user-friendly language.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and follow through.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and build relationships.
• Able to travel to multiple hospital sites, corporate settings and seminar locations.
• Able to work under stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism.
• Work will often require flexibility and meeting tight deadlines.
• Able to communicate with many different customers and seeking solutions to move the organization forward.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Two (2) years’ revenue cycle experience.
• EPIC certification or EPIC credentialed trainer.
• Experience with Automated Call Distribution systems (Cisco preferred)
Responsibilities:
1. Delivers new hire training in scheduling, registration, epic, revenue cycles, including the use of telephony platform, CRM, webchat and other applications. Actively participates in training sessions and seeks mentorship opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in training delivery and content development.
2. Maintaining training materials, including knowledge articles, guides, presentations, and exercises
3. Contribute to the creation of procedural and conceptual content, ensuring it is comprehensive, coherent, and aligns with healthcare industry standards.
4. Conducts train-the-trainer sessions when needed.
5. Facilitates and leads call calibration sessions for agents.
6. Performs root cause analysis of errors.
7. Conducts routine quality audits on designated work activities, following established quality monitoring standards and guidelines.
8. Collaborates with team members to gather and analyze audit data, supporting the identification of areas for improvement.
9. Develop individual agent performance scorecards.
10. Coaches’ employees on opportunity for improvement
11. Assists with side-by-side training of new hires.
12. Other similar and/or related duties as assigned.
