The Department
Torrance Transit is a municipally operated public transportation agency in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County. The agency directly operates a fleet of 63, 40-foot buses and a network of eleven (11) fixed-route bus lines. The mission of Torrance Transit is to provide safe, reliable, inexpensive and courteous transportation to our customers--the people who live, work and do business in the City of Torrance and the region. 

The Position
Torrance Transitis currently recruiting for Transit Supervisors to lead and coach a team of bus operators and dispatchers working in a fast- paced environment with shifting priorities. In this assignment, you will be supervising the day-to-day operations, such as scheduling and assignment of vehicles and personnel, monitoring radio traffic and responding to emergencies.  This is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the best in the transit industry with an agency that has prides itself as a service focused organization to the community and the region for over 80 years.
