Overview:The Transition Manager is responsible for coordinating transformational changes in new business acquisitions. This role is Food and Beverage focused and oversees the operational transitions into our company and ensuring the quality of transition is according to contract, schedule and budget. This role will be single point of contact to update management, transition team members, and clients on any prospective transition-related changes, consulting on the risk factors of implementing proposed changes, and facilitating approved transition processes. This position will work closely with the F&B start up team to share information, communicate changes and opportunities for a unified transition experience for the client and employees.
The Transition Manager will be onsite from the point of contract award to the period after go-live and the account is full functional as an OVG venue. This position has the ultimate responsibility for updating and communicating the integration plan. Together with a team of experts from the various support areas, the transition manager plays a vital role in establishing a partnership with the business leaders and gaining their confidence and creditability through effective project management and technical knowledge
This role will pay a hourly rate of $40.00 to $50.00.

Responsibilities:- Create and communicate transitional plans and documents to outline project expectations, scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Manage the complex process of acquisitions, partner with the business leaders to assist with organizational structure and vision, and ensure all of the aspects of the transaction are addressed and acted upon.
- Deep knowledge about the acquisition target, the proposal, contract and commitments to the client.
- Communicate, track, and report on project status, critical issues, key dependencies, etc.
- Facilitate effective collaboration of project contributors across corporate partner functions in order to deliver efficient and timely project delivery
- Integrate and manage the program timeline by identifying all project internal & external interdependencies
- Interact with all levels of the organization: senior leaders, outside consultants, vendors and other key stakeholders inside and outside Oak View Group
- Track budgeting and management of expenses related to department activities as related to the transition
- Ensure quality execution of commitments required contractually
- Highly strategic, proactive, and organized
- Strong interpersonal skills
- 5+ years project management / business analysis experience
- Ability to define and execute multiple detailed activity plans simultaneously
- Skilled in customer facing activities covering requirements gathering, data preparation, timeline management, and documentation preparation
- Ability to communicate and work collaboratively within a team and have strong influencing skills
- Ability to coach and advise senior stakeholders
- Ability to conduct and facilitate workshops with business representatives, management and executives, team member resources, and external third-party groups
- Ability to manage ambiguity with demonstrated confidence & credibility
- Strong judgement and decision-making skills
- Experience working with Project Management and Change Management principles
- Must have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field
