Job Duties:
- Develop detailed engineering designs for natural gas transmission pipelines, compressor stations, metering stations, and regulator stations.
- Coordinate with government entities to determine project permit requirements on a local, county or state level.
- Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements, codes, and industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, DOT), and participate in permitting processes as needed.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations to ensure optimal pipeline sizing and flow rates.
- Perform QA/QC of all work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- EIT or PE license preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in natural gas transmission or related industries, with strong knowledge of pipeline design principles, materials, and construction practices.
