Transport Cost Analyst II at DISH

Boost Wireless Network is seeking a Transport Cost Analyst to support the National Transport Team with invoice reconciliation and auditing.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Audit invoice charges against contracts and resolve billing discrepancies with Transport and Data Center providers
• Own the billing relationships with Boost’s Transport vendors
• Own the relationship with Boost’s third-party bill processing partner
• Generate monthly reports on Transport and Data Center spend including accrual reporting
• Perform ad-hoc cost analysis as requested by Business Partners

Education and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting/finance environment
• Telecom experience is highly preferred

Skills and Qualifications:

• Intermediate skills in MS Excel
• Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts (Accruals, Reversal, GAAP principles, etc.)
• Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal skills, and well-developed oral and written presentation skills

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
