Responsibilities:
- Manage daily CCP’s such as planning aging, pickup aging, on time delivery, etc.
- Track and trace shipments daily to meet customer expectations and export cutoff’s
- Maintain direction and movement of dedicated carriers
- Kaizens and Cost savings implementation, including reduction to NVAA and service level improvements
- Carrier and third-party provider feedback to management
- Continuous review and update’s to relevant SOP’s
- Maintain weights and dimensions of finished goods product in SAP and OTM
- Plan shipments and handle contingencies in transportation
- Follow-up with export markets to ensure all EC’s, call-off’s, etc. are complete to ensure bookings can be made timely
- Work with Freight Forwarder and review Dock Receipts to verify units are booked on appropriate vessels in accordance with objectives and correct as necessary
- Develop and implement corrective action when expected results fall short of model results
- Ability to multitask operational tasks and project management to meet both short term & long-term objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of logistics or planning experience
- The ideal candidate will have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Word)
- SharePoint, OTM, Cognos, SAP
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
