McCormick Taylor is seeking a Construction Supervisor to work with our Construction Management/Inspection group for an immediate opening in Delaware County, PA for a construction project that would start by the end of July. This project is anticipated to last at least 1 year.
Responsibilities:
Position requires construction inspection experience for the replacement and/or rehabilitation of both structure. Position entails the on-site daily observation of site improvements to ensure compliance of regulations, safety standards, best practices, coordination with the sponsor, and reading of construction plans and specifications to ensure accuracy.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma (or GED); further education a plus,
- Possess a valid driver’s license,
- Construction experience is preferred; PennDOT, PA Turnpike and/or local roadway/bridge inspection experience is a plus
- Ideal candidates are prequalified as PennDOT Inspectors
- Preferred valid certifications, (not expired), include any combination of the following:
- NICET – Highway Construction Inspection (all levels),
- American Concrete Institute (ACI) All certifications,
- NECEPT Concrete and/or Bituminous,
- ECMS experience.
