Transportation Industry Sales Director - ATC Automation

The Transportation Industry Sales Director is a contributing member of the ATC Sales Leadership Team. The position is responsible for the sales leadership, development, and performance of the transportation industry business for ATC Automation. This position is a working role accountable for the performance of associated Business Development Managers and Sales Representatives, as well as personal assignments. The position promotes ATC Automation's capabilities, sells the company's solutions at best possible profit margins, drives revenue growth, achieves positive market recognition, implements, and drives sales strategies.
ESSENTINAL FUNCTIONS:
· Development of sales organization appropriate for the company's maturity, size, and revenue requirements.
· Develop and manage an active Sales Pipeline and Forecast fully utilizing ATC's Customer Relationship Manager (CRM).
· Lead related Business Development Managers and Sales Representatives identifying and closing business.
· Internal sales voice for remote Business Development Managers and Sales Representatives.
· Effectively work across TASI company lines.
· Develop and implement Sales Win Strategies necessary to meet organizational objectives.
· Engage clients on a technical and commercial level to promote total business solutions.
· Work in harmony with the Applications Team, Project Teams, Marketing and Management in pursuit and support of new and existing customers.
· Experience in custom designed and built automation
· Sales Presentations
· Pursue both domestic and international clients.
· Promote and maintain high level of Customer Satisfaction.
· Meet agreed upon goals and objectives.
· Acts as role model for company culture.
· Develops and maintains professional business ethics and atmosphere.
· Effectively manage change
· Valid Driver's license required
Location: This is a Remote position. Travel is expected to be in the 40% range, with frequent travel to the HQ in Cookeville Tennessee. Relocation assistance will be provided, but relocation is not required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education or Experience
Bachelors degree
5+ years' experience in custom designed and built automation
B. Interpersonal Skills
Ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to speak effectively
Ability to manage
C. Other Skills
Ability to effectively plan and organize.
Ability to work under pressure and maximize efficiency
